Good news: a taxi in Plovdiv runs on a simple published tariff, and with One Taxi you can work out the fare yourself before you get in. Below is our current tariff in euro and nine of the most common rides in the city, priced on that tariff.
These routes come from our own dispatch centre. They are among the trips people order most: from the big residential districts into the centre and Kapana, to the railway station, to the main university hospital, to the Rowing Canal and to the shopping malls.
One Taxi Plovdiv tariff
All One cars run on the same published tariff across Plovdiv, shown on every car and on our Prices page. The meter uses a day rate and a night rate.

The €0.50 booking fee is charged once per ride, whether you call or use the One App.
Work out your fare in ten seconds
You do not need an app or a fare estimator. Use this formula:
Fare ≈ starting fee + km × price per km + €0.50 booking fee. If the car waits for you or sits in traffic, the meter adds €0.16 per minute.
Example: 5 km by day = 1.60 + 5 × 0.80 + 0.50 = €6.10. The same ride after 22:00 = 1.80 + 5 × 0.90 + 0.50 = €6.80. For a normal city ride the night rate adds roughly 50 cents to €1.

Distances are approximate driving distances from the middle of each district. Plovdiv is compact, so most rides inside the city are between 3 and 8 km.

From the districts to the centre and Kapana
Most students and many visitors stay in Karshiyaka (north of the river), Trakia (the large district in the east) or Kyuchuk Parizh (south). Karshiyaka to Kapana, the creative quarter full of bars and cafés, is a short hop over the river at about €4.50. Trakia is further out, so plan on about €6.90 by day and €7.70 at night. Kyuchuk Parizh to the centre is about €5.30.
Railway station, hospital and the Rowing Canal
Plovdiv Central railway station is about 3 km from the centre, roughly €4.50; from Trakia it is about €6.10. Medical students and patients heading to St. George University Hospital will pay about €4.50 from the centre. Tell the dispatcher which building or entrance you need. The Rowing Canal (Grebna Baza), popular for runs, rowing events and evening walks, is about €5.30 from a hotel in the centre.

Mall Plovdiv Plaza is about 4 km from the centre, so expect about €5.30 by day and €5.90 at night. Heading home with bags? Luggage and shopping travel free.
What is included, and what can change the price
- No surge pricing. The rate is the same at rush hour, at weekends and on public holidays.
- No luggage charge and no charge per passenger. You pay for the car.
- Child seat at no extra cost when you request it in advance.
- Waiting time is the only thing that moves the price on a known route: €0.16 per minute. Between 17:00 and 20:00, Plovdiv’s busiest hours, the same ride can be a few tens of cents more because the car spends longer in traffic.

Airport and trips outside Plovdiv

How much is a short taxi ride in Plovdiv?
A ride of about 3 km, for example from Karshiyaka to the centre, comes to about €4.50 by day and about €5.00 at night, booking fee included. The amount on the taxi meter is what you pay.
When does the night rate apply?
From 22:00 to 06:00. The starting fee is then €1.80 and each kilometre €0.90. From 06:00 to 22:00 the day rate applies: €1.60 and €0.80 per km.
Do prices go up at rush hour or on public holidays?
No. One Taxi does not use surge pricing. The rate at 18:00 on a Friday is the same as at 11:00 on a Tuesday, holidays included.
