Taxi to the villages around Plovdiv

Many people who move to Plovdiv choose a house in one of the villages around it: Markovo, Belashtitsa, Voyvodinovo, Parvenets. Life is quieter, but buses are rare and the last one leaves early. If you live there, rent a holiday house there or are invited to a village wedding, this page shows how far each village is from the city centre, what a taxi costs by our published tariff, and how to book a car without speaking Bulgarian.

About 25 villages around Plovdiv come up again and again, with more than 5,000 rides to and from them in that time. Voyvodinovo, Belashtitsa and Markovo are ordered most often.

Approximate, by the tariff, day/night, booking fee included. Distances are approximate road distances from the city centre to the centre of the village. From another district (Trakia, Karshiyaka) the distance is different. The final amount depends on the route, traffic and waiting time; the meter in the car is what counts.

For rides inside the city, such as the Old Town, Kapana or the Rowing Canal, see Plovdiv taxi fares 2026: real examples.

Where the villages are

North of the Maritsa river

Voyvodinovo, Tsaratsovo, Trud, Stroevo and Radinovo. Many people commute from here to work in Plovdiv every day, and Voyvodinovo is the village we are called to most. Mornings are busy towards the city, evenings back out.

South, towards the Rhodopes

Markovo, Belashtitsa, Parvenets, Brestnik, Branipole and Yagodovo, with the small town of Kuklen a little further on. Many new family houses have been built here in recent years. Rides here often go to the malls, schools and hospitals in town.

West and east

Brestovitsa, Zlatitrap and the small town of Perushtitsa to the west, Skutare to the east. Perushtitsa is the furthest in the table, about 24 km.

Plovdiv Airport

The airport is next to Krumovo, but the fare there is fixed, not metered: €20 by day and €25 at night, per car for up to four passengers. More in Plovdiv Airport to city centre.

When people travel to and from the villages

Our orders show a clear rhythm. Between 7 and 9 in the morning people leave the villages for work, school and hospital appointments. It quietens down, then builds again in the afternoon and evening, peaking around 18:00. Around and after midnight village rides rise again: people coming home from restaurants, shifts or a late train.

  • Morning: the car comes out from the city, so book a little early, or book for a set time the evening before.
  • Friday evening: the busiest time in the whole city. Book before you leave the table.
  • Night: we work around the clock; after 22:00 the night tariff applies.

How to book a taxi to or from a village

  • By phone: 032 22 22. 24/7, in English. Give the village, the street and number, or a landmark such as the church, the town hall, the shop or the bus stop.
  • In the One App. Drop the pin where you are. New houses are often not on every map and many streets have no visible numbers, so a pin is the easiest way for the driver to find you. You see the car, its plate and model as it comes.
  • In advance, for a set time. Useful for an early shift, a train or a flight. If you need a child seat, say so when you book: on request it is free of charge.

If the car should wait for you

A common trip is a quick errand in town: a pharmacy, papers, a doctor. If you want the car to wait, waiting is charged by the tariff, €0.16 per minute. For longer stops it is usually cheaper to book a new ride back.

Luggage, children and payment

There is no extra charge for luggage, for more passengers or for public holidays. The fare is per car, not per person, so four of you pay the same as one. Child seats are available on request when you book, at no extra cost.

Pay as you like: cash or card. Every car has a card terminal through our partnership with myPOS and accepts Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Apple Pay and Google Pay, with no card fee. There is no surge pricing either: the tariff at 18:00 on a Friday is the same as at 11:00 on a Tuesday.
