Pazardzhik is the nearest regional town to Plovdiv and one of the trips we drive most often outside the city. Many of the people who ride with us go there for work, often on shifts that start before the first bus. Others go for a meeting, a hospital appointment or a visit, or carry on towards the spa town of Velingrad. This page covers the route itself: what it costs, how long it takes and how to book a car that is there on time.
How much is a taxi from Plovdiv to Pazardzhik?
There are two ways to pay for the ride, and both are published on our website. Nothing is added on top.
Fixed price: €35 by day, €40 at night
You agree the price when you book, and it does not change with traffic, roadworks on the motorway or the number of people in the car. It covers one car with up to four passengers, one way. It only changes if you change the route on the way or ask the driver to wait for you.
On the meter: about €34.10 by day, about €38.30 at night
If you simply get in and the driver runs the meter, you pay the published tariff: a starting fee of €1.60 by day (€1.80 at night), €0.80 per km (€0.90 at night) and a one-off €0.50 booking fee. Kilometres outside the city cost the same as inside it. For 40 km that comes to about €34.10 by day and about €38.30 at night. The meter in the car is what counts: the exact addresses in both towns and traffic leaving Plovdiv can move the total a little.
On this route the meter and the fixed price end up almost the same. The fixed price is simply easier when you want to know the amount in advance, for example at rush hour or when your company is paying.
Beyond Pazardzhik: Peshtera, Bratsigovo, Septemvri, Velingrad
If you are travelling further, the calculator also has fixed prices for the towns past Pazardzhik. All are from Plovdiv, per car with up to four passengers, one way.
| Destination | Trip | Day | Night |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pazardzhik | 40 km · 30 min | 35 € | 40 € |
| Peshtera | 45 km · 35 min | 40 € | 45 € |

Velingrad takes longer because after Pazardzhik the road climbs into the mountains: only about 45 of its 85 km are motorway. If you are going to a spa hotel there, give the hotel name and address when you book.
When people travel
These figures come from our own call centre. In three months (July to September 2026) we drove close to 400 rides to and from Pazardzhik, a few more towards Pazardzhik than back.
- Early morning, around 4–5 am. A large share of the rides are for shift work. If your shift starts early, book the car the evening before for an exact time.
- Afternoon, between 1 pm and 6 pm. This is when people head back after a shift or a meeting. If you know when you finish, book the return in advance.
- At night. We also drive the route after midnight. The night price of €40 fixed then applies.
At those hours buses and trains between the two towns do not always fit your timetable. A taxi leaves when you do and drops you at the address, not at the bus station.
Commuting every day? A company account
If your employer moves staff between Plovdiv and Pazardzhik, receipts pile up fast. With One business taxi services employees order as usual, by phone or in the One App, nothing is paid in the car, and at the end of the month the company gets one invoice with a statement of every ride. There is no service fee, no subscription and no minimum spend; the tariff is the same one everybody pays.
