How much does a taxi cost in Plovdiv?
The meter starts at 1.60 € by day and 1.80 € at night, then adds 0.80 € per kilometre by day and 0.90 € at night, plus a single booking fee of 0.50 €. A typical ride inside the city comes to between 4 and 9 euro.
When does the night rate start?
The night rate applies from 22:00 to 06:00. The rest of the time, from 06:00 to 22:00, the day rate applies.
Is there a booking fee?
Yes, 0.50 € once per ride. It is the same whether you call 032 22 22 or order through the One App.
Can I pay by card?
Yes. Every car carries a card terminal and accepts Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Apple Pay and Google Pay, with no surcharge for paying by card.
How much is a taxi to Plovdiv Airport?
The fixed price to Plovdiv Airport in Krumovo is 20 € by day and 25 € at night. The distance is about 20 kilometres and the drive takes around 20 minutes.
Is the transfer price really fixed?
Yes. For transfers the price is agreed before departure and does not change with traffic or route. It only changes if you change the route yourself or ask the driver to wait.
Do prices rise at peak hours or on holidays?
